If you wanted plain old romance I would recommend everything Sarah Dessen has written.
But fantasy romance:
The Silver Kiss (most romantic and natural vampire love story ever)
The Hunger Games (three books HIGHLY recommended)
The Mortal Instruments (three books, okay, romance and fantasy)
Valley Of The Wolves (odd but interesting romance fantasy)
City of Ember (Three books- But the romance isn’t sweep you off your feet. They just fit together cause they’re so meant for one another. Great story though.)
Just because I love them:
Classics:
Anne of Green Gables
Daddy Long Legs
A Room with a View
Pride and Prejudice (Emma, Persuasion, Jane Austen)
Young Adult Novels: (not fantasy)
Girl v. Boy
Sarah Dessen’s Just Listen
The Girl Who Invented Romance
start with The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. the sequel Catching Fire. the final book Mockingjay just came out
(about a futuristic ruins of america called Panem. there are 12 poor districts and one selfish capitol. the capitol forces all the districts to sen one boy and one girl ages 12-18 every year to compete in the Hunger Games, a fight to the death on lIve TV. its punishment for their rebellion 74 years ago. it sounds gruesome, but its not all that bad. Katniss, fron District 12, is shocked when Katniss’s younger sister is randomly chosen to be a tribute (participant) in the Hunger Games. so Katniss volunteers to take her place. The other tribute from her district is a boy named Peeta. They kinda-semi-fall in love/pretend to…but Katniss can’t choose between Peeta or Gale, her 18 year old handsome friend in District 12…… its action/romance and very captivating. BEST BOOK EVER!!
it is probably more action than romance but still . LOVED IT
