March 2, 2011 Author like Patricia Briggs?
Question:I am looking for a new book/series to read similar to the Mercy Thompson series. I have read the Anita Blake series, but prefer the writing style of Briggs. I’ve also read that Alpha and Omega side story and liked it too. Mostly just a solid Paranormal Romance suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Other authors I liked, Kresley Cole and Charlaine Harris. I really didn’t like Christine Feehan’s Dark series, but I only read one book. And I really didn’t like the Black Dagger Brotherhood series either, also only read one. Thank you a million times over!

you might like Kelley Armstrong’s Women of the Otherworld series starting with Bitten
On the eve of her marriage, Elena Michaels learns that her fiance has been concealing his secret life as a werewolf, and, as a bonus, he has made her into one also.
or the Kitty Norvill series by Carrie Vaughn. It starts with Kitty and the midnight hour
When Kitty Norville, a DJ for a Denver radio station and a secret werewolf, accidentally launches a late-night advice show for the supernaturally disadvantaged, she becomes the target of a werewolf hunter and several homicidal undead.
or the Cassandra Palmer novels by Karen Chance which starts with Touch the Dark
When a bloodthirsty Mafioso sets his vengeful sights on Cassandra Palmer, who is gifted with the ability to communicate with the dead, she is forced to ask the vampire council for help and must pay a high price at the hands of a sensual master vampire.

Lilith Saintcrow has two series:
Jill Kismet–first book Night Shift
Jill Kismet, an exorcist and Hunter trained as a demon slayer, may be in over her head as she takes on a rogue Were with some very powerful hellbreed allies who is killing his way through Santa Luz.
and the Dante Valentine novels which starts with Working for the Devil
Necromancer-for-hire Dante Valentine may be in over her head when she is hired by the devil to take out a renegade demon, Vardimal Santino, in exchange for her life.
