Question:
…movies?
I’m really not sure where to put this, I know some would give me a had time about it. But there’s a paranormal feeling about the whole situation.
For me it’s the love stories, music of love songs….especially the music of Titanic, I feel like I am missing someone. It’s the very same feelings I had as a very young child, I would watch love movies as a child, and feel as if I am missing the love of my life. Perhaps memories and feeling of a past life, what do you think?
I believe I do know whom it is now since she comes and communicates, or did, and she gave me some memories of us together in that past life.
What are your thoughts….and have you ever felt like this?
I know the skeptics love to jump on this kinda stuff.
Arian… Then tell me why would a very young child watch them old love movies and feel the feeling of being and missing love as if once knew what it was all about, and felt as if I was missing someone special.
Sweet… that is a very good point Arian pointed out.

That’s partially true indeed. It’s been proven. Certain smells trigger emotions and especially memories in the brain. For example, I listend to Enter Sandman every single time I went shopping for ski equipement. Turns out, whenever I went shopping the next year, or even smelled something similair to the smell of the shop, Enter Sandman would pop into my head, and vice versa.
It isn’t past lives. That’s for sure. However, what is happening is that your mind is making connections with the music and your experiences in life and your environment.

I just thought it was interesting to point out from what Arian said that our mind is subconsciously making connections in our lives.

I felt the same thing as a child. Maybe..at least for me…it was because I didn’t have a family who showed love. Well..they showed it with buying me things etc..but we never hugged. I think I needed that for a feeling of security.

Amen. Very insightful. I’ve had similar feelings.

All of our senses work in harmony to recall memories. I won’t say that it isn’t past life memories, because I tend to believe they are very much a possibility.
To say no way to past life, is a way of thinking that is too much “in the box” because there is so much that we do not know.
There are certain songs and other sensations I have that I should not have a “connection” to, but I do.
So! If it has a paranormal “feel” about it, so be it. Ask your spiritual guide to point you in the right direction for the answer and then watch for the signs.
best of luck

Emotions (which are ‘feeling’ in that way) are triggered from this life. absolutely no evidence of past lives. Why invent an answer which is unnecessary, all is quite easily explained by current psychology. So best ask the question there.

whenever i’d listen to music from the 1950′s or 1960′s both as a child and as an adult (i was born in 1980) i would feel..weird feelings. certain songs made me feel it the strongest- sleepwalk by santo and johnny, earth angel, and i think it’s called sherry baby? but i know most words to most oldies music- i’ve been told it’s kinda creepy for a 28 year old. oldies music has ALWAYS had an effect on me- same with cars from that era, clothes, everything.
as for the music from titanic- first time i heard “my heart will go on” after i saw the movie, i cried. it was a really powerful movie.
