what a shame the budgets are so restrictive because i am sure isome of them might put some people off if they saw them on their tv screens.,and they would never know what they were missing….if cos productions did this one then well done, it one of the best that i have seen

I’ve read all 17 – and currently reading her 18th book of the Dark Series “Dark Slayer”. I had that book on hold at the library for over 2 months! I requested it before they even ordered it! XD I’m almost done and I wish I wasn’t! I want more!!

Ms. Feehan is undoubtedly now the “Queen”..I really do enjoy her novels, my only comment is that I wish I could afford them, their prices have really priced me out of being able to purchase them..thank goodness for Libraries.

I love the Carpithan books, and Lara is one of my favourites. I have read all the books and am a HUGE fan, BUT….I HATE these vidoes. The men are just not anywhere near good looking enough and the woman are all plain. The video showing Colby is awful, she’s SO plain and boring looking. The point of these men are that they are supposed to be GORGEOUS, they have to be since they are so controlling and bossy, they need at least to be hot and sexy so you can understand the iniigtal attraction.

With the very limited budget given to the trailers this is really good. People in the filmmaking industry know this is great production value, but fans don’t understand the limitations.
Mrs. Feehan isn’t doing the acted out ones now.

I havent actually read this book yet but i am definetly excited, having this to watch and speculate on. the kiss was hot for two people who didnt know each other i approve

agreed. i love the books but the trailers for them are a little weird. it would be so cool if they would actually make a movie out of the books.

It was an okay video trailer, better that the ones I make on Windows Movie Maker for my novels.
The trailer doesn’t really justify the book though, that is sad.

Should be quite interesting to see how Razvan will integrate with the other Carpathians. Enjoy these books!!

Ivory’s the girl who the De La Cruz brothers called their little sister, until one day she was attacked and killed by a vampire but her body was never found and now we know why!!!! anywho there’s a brief part about her in Dark Possession.

This book moves along the whole Carpathian storyline. You learn a lot of interesting things about the Carpathians and their history too.

There’s really not a lot that can be done to improve production value when the budget is extremely limited. The Feehan videos have won a lot of industry awards, but the problem tends to be with the actors or acting. Having to work around SAG is hard enough since these are all independently made, but getting an a really good actor can take up most of your budget.
With that said, Mrs. Feehan no longer does the full production videos. We now do ones with stock photos and footage and a little special effects thrown in to liven it up.
Fans seem to like these better. But, as a fan myself I can say that it is just going to be tough to beat the images we have in our minds.
