something with a really good love story, like romeo and juliet kind of thing. Adult or young adult doesn’t matter, and please do not say twilight! (a happy ending is a plus and so is paranormal elements but is ok if it doesn’t have those)

The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
It has a great love story between two people living in the modern times but the thing is that the guy is a time traveler. He travels from different years and eras. So the girl doesn’t really know what’s happening to him since he just pops in and out of her life. The ending is not really a happy one nor is it a sad one. It’s a good read and one of my favorites of all time

Nicholas Sparks has some good love stories. The Notebook, The Last Song, A Walk to Remeber, Dear John.
If you really want something with paranormal elements hmm the Meredith Gentry series is a set of romance novels about the sidhe (fairies) but they are rather explicit at parts and have some darker under tones since she is a detective.
Wicked Lovely is another fairy love book but it is a lot more clean.
If you mean paranormal like vampires (though I see the no twilight thing) Intertwined is worth looking into.
Hex Hall is a good one for witches.
The best one I can think of if you like aliens is Red Handed but that is between 2 alien hunters not a human and an alien.
Ruined is the only ghost one I can think of. Oh and the mediator series by meg cabot.
A good zombie one is Generation Dead and the sequels.
