Sounds like you’re into fantasy. Read Terry Goodkind’s Sword of Truth novels. That, or hit up Anne Rice’s erotic fiction series, beginning with “The Domination of Sleeping Beauty” (You don’t have to tell anybody!).

J.R.R Tolkien-The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Series
Stephen King-The Shining, Salem’s Lot, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon (and many others)
Lemony Snicket-A series of Unfortunate Events (pretty easy, but still good books)

Libba Bray’s Gemma Doyle trilogy: A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, and The Sweet Far Thing for Victorian-era fantasy. You could also try Scott Westerfeld’s Uglies series for futuristic fantasy.
