Question:
Ok, here Is what I read and LOVED:
The Twilight Series (Don’t Hate=)
The Dark Hunter Series
The Undead series
The Southern vampire series (Sookie Stackhouse)
The Night huntress series
The Black dagger brotherhood series
the Mortal instrument series
The House of night (or Marked) series
The Blood ties series
The Morganville vampires series
Here are a few series I couldn’t get into:
The Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton (The one book I tried to read she was Fu@&ing like 6 different guys eww.)
The Darkyn series by Lynn Viehl (Just wasn’t interested in the characters/hokey vampires/catholic(ness) lol.
And (Don’t hate me for this) The Vampire chronicles by Ann Rice (She’s just a tad long winded I feel).
I very much prefer a series (if I get into the characters I want to read more about them).
I prefer Romance/adult orientated books, but will read a younger series if the plot and characters are good- and on the same hand while I prefer romance I would much rather interesting characters and plot then sex scenes. If you couldrecommendd anything I haven’t read I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance and sorry for being long winded myself!

The Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. There’s 13 books, and the love between the two characters sets up the whole series. There’s action too so you don’t get bored.

Evermore The Immortals series by Alyson Noel.Since a horrible accident claimed the lives of her family, sixteen-year-old Ever can see auras, hear people’s thoughts, and know a person’s life story by touch. Going out of her way to shield herself from human contact to suppress her abilities has branded her as a freak at her new high school—but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste… Ever sees Damen and feels an instant recognition. He is gorgeous, exotic and wealthy, and he holds many secrets. Damen is able to make things appear and disappear, he always seems to know what she’s thinking—and he’s the only one who can silence the noise and the random energy in her head. She doesn’t know who he really is—or what he is. Damen is equal parts light and darkness, and he belongs to an enchanted new world where no one ever dies..

Gabriele Caccini:The Vampire Gene by Paigan Stone
I’m looking for a girl – and not just any girl will do. You see I’m no ordinary student at Manchester University and the lovely Carolyn is exactly what I want. Tall, dark and androgynous; she resembles my cousin and first love. All my girls do… I didn’t bank on the beautiful Lilly, of course. She’s blonde, curvy; has thrown me with her lyrical voice. I admit she’s gorgeous even though she is not my type! But despite my protests my dreams are filled with Lilly and even a Seventeenth Century vampire has trouble controlling his urges. Especially when drugged by a fellow student with Ecstasy. Over four hundred women have died because of my uncontrollable passion, so why is Lilly the only woman in centuries to survive my fatal kiss?

Have you tried Larissa Ione’s Demonica series or Gena Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld? Both are excellent.
Oh, and Pamela Palmer’s Feral Warriors

How about Lynsay Sands. She writes a vampire series that’s adult without the multiple partners. Kerrelyn Sparks also write a vampire series that is adult without multiple partners. I noticed that was something you didn’t particularly care for with the Anita Blake series. Ummm… There are some mentions of religion in the Kerrelyn Sparks series, not heavy overtones or anything like that, just that they aren’t condemned or anything like that. I liked them still go back and reread them on a regular basis. While adult. Both authors actually make plots, not just a ton of sex scenes.
