And the answers were all very helpful and supportive, but I tend to see that most paranurmal romance and UF books’re really disgusting. Too oversexed for my taste.

Please help, which books that have been recommended by the people that answered my question (link on top) are like that and which ones aren’t?

Or if, you have recommendations of paranormal romance & urban fantasy books that aren’t oversexed. Please.. (:

Warriors in the Mist: A Medieval Dark Fantasy

I’ve run out of books to read, or rather all the books i want to read are on hold at my local library and i need something to pass the time. I enjoy reading stuff like rachel Caine’s Weather Warden series (though her morganville vampire series has never caught my interest) and Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson series (as well as her alpha and omega) and i do enjoy Twilight (though any other YA urban fantasy i’ve read found rather dull…) i’ve also read the Kitty Norville series.
My friend enjoys Gena Showalter, though i’ve found her to be …overwhelming she was a little too graphic and little less plot for my taste. Ixnay on the sex kay? I don’t mind a little but…i’d rather have *minimal*-content- if you get my drift. [so i guess that rules paranormal romance out]

I can sort of see the cross over appeal for fantasy novels. But the sci-fi and horror sections seem like they are being taken over as well.
Does it make sense to shake up the categories a bit to separate out the romance elements?

I need help finding a fantasy or paranormal romance series for adults. I am reading Partholon by P.C. Cast and am totally in love with it. I am waiting on divine by blood to come in the mail. I so wish I did not order the book because now I have to wait. But in the meantime I would really love to find something similar to the partholon series or better. I just totally love it. Please any suggestions are welcome
