I don’t know about you, but I’m freaking sick of vampire romance, it is horribly, horribly, cliched and overdone. Does anyone else feel this way? And if a vampire novel came out that didn’t have romance, would you read it?

I’m in love with paranormal romance novels, but I’m not the biggest fan of teen fiction like twilight.
Some authors I love are katie macalister and gena showalter. I really like their vampire novels, but they also have some really good paranormal romances with demons or dragons. I want something romantic and sexy with a bit of paranormal in it. I would prefer vampire stories but if you have a must read that isnt vampire based i would like to read that too. any ideas?

Am I suppose to try and finish writing the book before seeking a agent or publisher, or should I pitch them my idea first. I have already completed several chapters. Also do I even need a agent or do I just go to a publisher. Also what are some good publishers for paranormal novels in the united states.
