The Best Paranormal Romance

I have all summer to read, and I plan to read a bunch of books that I’ve never heard of. Im into books like the Twilight Saga, the Harry Potter books, things like The Guardian, Sundays at Tiffany’s, My Sister’s Keeper, etc. I also like classics, paranormal story books, and books that are vintage. HELP!!! Summer is rapidly approaching!

Also, Im 15 and don’t worry about things like sex scenes or scary parts. I love those the most.

I mostly read vampire books (Mary Janice Davidson, Sherilyon Kenyon, Twilight Series, Most Teen Vampire love stories) and I’m just looking for something new to start. Thinking either the Patricia Briggs books or Kelley Armstrong. (Pick from these two or suggest others. I’m all ears.)

I’ve had a few strange experiences in life but nothing I would consider paranormal. On the other hand, I love reading Ghost stories, especially ones written by everyday people recounting their experiences.

Here are a few series I couldn’t get into:
The Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton (The one book I tried to read she was Fu@&ing like 6 different guys eww.)
The Darkyn series by Lynn Viehl (Just wasn’t interested in the characters/hokey vampires/catholic(ness) lol.
And (Don’t hate me for this) The Vampire chronicles by Ann Rice (She’s just a tad long winded I feel).

I very much prefer a series (if I get into the characters I want to read more about them).
I prefer Romance/adult orientated books, but will read a younger series if the plot and characters are good- and on the same hand while I prefer romance I would much rather interesting characters and plot then sex scenes. If you couldrecommendd anything I haven’t read I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance and sorry for being long winded myself!

Everyone tells me that if I want to read steamy romance books I should read Nora Roberts but All I have read are paranormal/fantasy romance/passion books. I love the love infatuation and then coming to a heated passion but like I said, I have not ventured out. What do I do? I also like the mystery and action but I just don’t know where to look. I obviously prefer the more adult content books, after all I am an adult but have read many YA books. Please give me some suggestions!!

I like historical romance novels. Some of my favorite authors are Connie Mason, Kresley Cole, Monica McCarty and Julia London. I love anything romance novels that have to do with Ireland or Scotland. I also like exciting paranormal romance novels like the Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer.
