I love Languages (im really good with them) And I want to travel.. (Air Force Question)?

Question:
So would Crypto-Linguist be the way to go? I was considering Airborne Crypto-Linguist but I’m not sure because of the SERE training. What is the exact job title of the linguist who’s “locked in a room”. I’ve been doing a lot of research and these are basically the questions I can’t get answered. I’m soooo excited about the schooling that people seem to make a big deal out of, but i’ve been learning languages on my own for so long it’d be nice to get some help. I started learning Spanish when I was 11 and my fluency is there.. but I’m willing to learn any romance or mid eastern language they want to teach me. (i also wouldn’t mind japanese ) I’m excited about BMT (for reasons you may not understand) but I’m also happy about getting my privacy back (to a certain extent) after training. If i went airborne.. would that privacy again be stripped away?

Thanks for your time.. I plan on speaking with my recruiter today about wanting to go for the DLAB (which i better do well in because i’m exceptionally good at picking up grammatical patterns *regardless of language*) (not boasting but i needed to make that point) And he’s pretty reluctant about me doing what i want and is very “proactiv” when it comes to doing what i’m good at.. which in his appearance is.. electronics and intel. (according to the asvab..lol.. that i basically took on accident in high school two yrs ago) I want to take it over, even if he’s against it.. it’s not like they gave me a job and date yet anyway. I think it’ perfect timing and if it doesn’t work out.. i still have my backup job selections that i picked at MEPS a month ago.
