  1. Things like:
    The Hollow (forgot the author)
    Mediator Series by Meg Cabot
    Twilight is alright.
Shiver (again forgot the author :( ) is AMAZING! It’s a werewolf story that was just perfect.

  3. Paranormal means they have a gift of like second sight, seeing auras, energy, super strength, seeing in the dark.

Arcane Society series by Jayne Ann Krentz/Amanda Quick (paranormal thriller and romance) Second Sight is the first book – Photographer Venetia Milton supports her brother, sister and maiden aunt while keeping secrets: her late father’s bigamy, her paranormal gift for seeing people’s auras (“like looking at a negative image of the world”) and her more-than-willing ravishment by client Gabriel Jones. Heir to a generations-old clandestine association of alchemists, scientists and dabblers in psychic phenomena, Gabriel has a few secrets of his own.

The second book White Lies was excellent. The female lead was a human lie detector.

Dark-Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon – The author uses Greek Mythology to create the Dark Hunters a group of men and women who defend humanity. Racy stuff

Paranormal Romance is a sub-genre of Romance. The setting is usually earth, not in some distant galaxy, but there is an element to the story that isn’t quite normal. For instance, the hero or heroine could be a vampire, werewolf, demon, ghost or possess some kind of magic. There might be time travel involved…but the story will still be set in our world. They can vary from very dark to very light reads.

Examples of paranormal authors are: Christine Feehan, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lara Adrian, Stephenie Meyer
