Stephenie Meier, and argh… I can’t remember that one woman’s name. Um… AH! Tamora Pierce.
Though, with Tamora Pierce you’d have to start with the Lioness Series, then go through the other series. She uses her characters in her other series, except they’re not the main character. Her best series that I love is her “Immortal” series.
Terri Garey although I believe she’s more chick lit paranormal. I also liked Jessica Inclan and Lori Handeland who both are mystery romance paranormal and ‘Again’ by Sharon Cullers.
Favorite author is, without a doubt, GENA SHOWALTER!!
As for my favorite story, I would have to say that I love the series LORDS OF THE UNDERWORLD. I cannot choose only 1 book because this series is one story that is covered by several books. So far there is 3 books published and I am currently awaiting the 4th coming in 2009. The author has left me hanging in suspense at the tale end of the last book, THE DARKEST PLEASURE, so that I am hungry for how the story will unfold and which direction it will take. Each book is about each of the immortal warriors that are on a quest for the godly relic of Pandora’s Box. They must find the box before their enemy, The Hunters, finds it first to destroy the immortals. It’s a fantastic overall story and I highly recommend the series to everyone who loves romance books!!
Without a doubt that would be Kresley Cole, something about her writing just sucks me in, and my favorite book of her’s is probably A Hunger Like No Other.
I also Love Rachel Caine, L.J Smith, JR Ward, and yes I’m admitting it Stephanie Meyer. Twilight was the book that ‘hooked’ me so I guess I have a special place in my heart for the whole series, even though I wasn’t a big fan of the last book.

Love Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series! Bones really reminds me of Spike, from BtVS, and Cat, the heroine, is fabulous.
